Description/Notes:

To maintain the accuracy of all AISD general ledger accounts and the resulting financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and TEA regulations. Perform specific duties as assigned by the Director of Accounting.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

- Minimum certification/education: Bachelor's in business administration in accounting or
equivalent

Experience:

- Prior Texas public schools district accounting experience preferred
- Experience in working in computerized accounting systems

Special Knowledge/Skills:

- Must have a basic understanding of fund accounting
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer, with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications

Salary Range:

61,112 - 86,146
