Hiring Profile

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Set up, maintenance, validation and support of Beckman Remisol middleware integrating laboratory instrumentation with SCCSoft and Epic Beaker Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
• Setup, maintenance, validation and support of SCCSoft System including SoftLab, SoftMicro, SoftBank, SoftPathDx and Soft Gene modules.

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• Remisol upgrade experience including system and instrument interface validation as per CAP standard
• Experience integrating Remisol with BioRAD Unity Realtime system for processing and evaluation of laboratory Quality Control data.
• Support of Remisol integration with Cerner and Sunquest LIS systems

Additional Details

A. Have a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and have one year of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing.

OR

B. Have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and have at least 2 years of laboratory training or experience, or both in high complexity testing.

Professional Experience/Knowledge

1. Three (3) years of experience in project related assignments, five (5) years preferred.
2. Three (3) years of demonstrated clinical technical/testing knowledge required, with experience in Chemistry preferred.
3. Three (3) years of experience in instrumentation operation including comprehensive knowledge or instrumentation/troubleshooting is preferred.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
5. Understanding of and familiarity with Quality Control processes and applicable regulatory guidelines is required.
6. Knowledge of ISO 15189 standards and auditing criteria is preferred.
7. Previous experience with LIS systems tables and dictionaries preferred.
8. The successful candidate will be comfortable collaborating to gather information but utilizing independent judgment in decision making.
9. Comprehensive LIS knowledge is required.
