Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a similar discipline
• We look for 2+ years of applied data analysis or data science experience, or an advanced degree combined with relevant internship or project experience
• We need strong SQL skills, including analytical functions and performance-conscious querying on large tables
• We expect proficiency in Python and the core analytics stack, such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels or equivalent tools
• We value working knowledge of time series analysis, forecasting methods, and anomaly detection techniques
• We require practical experience with data quality testing, validation frameworks, and reconciliation
• We look for the ability to create clear, decision-ready visualizations and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
• We expect comfort working in an agile, high-ownership environment with shifting priorities
• Preferred: experience with payments, transaction banking, or financial services data
• Preferred: familiarity with semantic layers, metrics stores, or dimensional modeling
• Preferred: exposure to columnar or OLAP databases such as ClickHouse, Druid, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Preferred: experience defining model evaluation and drift monitoring in production
• Preferred: familiarity with LLM-assisted analytics, evaluation of generated explanations, or prompt-based workflows
• Preferred: experience with visualization tools beyond notebooks, such as D3, Plotly, Tableau, or similar

• We perform exploratory and diagnostic analysis across large-scale transactional datasets to validate business logic, metric definitions, and data quality
• We define and document acceptance criteria for analytical features, metrics, and model behavior, and verify releases against them before sign-off
• We design and run validation and back-testing for anomaly detection and forecasting models, including accuracy, precision/recall, false-positive rates, and threshold calibration
• We build and operate model and data drift monitoring, and recommend retraining or recalibration when performance declines
• We investigate and triage analytical defects, reconciliation breaks, and unexpected model output with upstream data and platform teams
• We create clear data visualizations and analytical narratives for executive and operational audiences, and contribute to product demos and stakeholder materials
• We partner with the Technical Product Owner on requirements, user story refinement, and prioritization grounded in evidence from the data
